The Wedge is a new monitoring device based on radio technology . It is a battery-powered radio transmitter with a 12 volt battery , with a life of up to 5 years .
Designed to work with most professionally used mouse and rat traps.
As many Smartraps as required can be used with one monitoring unit.
Designed to work inside or outside bait stations.
Non GSM (Base Station) This is for the small site, no GSM card installed and when a trap is activated the client gets a flashing light and calls the pest controller.
GSM Unit This will send a message to the pest controller when a trap is activated.
Pull Plate Unit used in unison with a base station will send a message to the pest controller when a cage has been activated.
ID Base Station An advanced base station to work alongside each wedge with an ID number. The ID number will appear on the display when the wedge is tripped.
The ID Base Station can display the ID number on the display of the Wedge that has tripped between 00 and 99 ( 100 traps.)
Each Wedge comes from the factory with a 2 digit ID code programmed, There is a water resistant label on each Wedge showing its ID number ( No programming required by the installer ).
When a Wedge trips the transmitted signal with the ID number of the Wedge that has tripped is sent to the Base Station.
When a Wedge trips the ID number of the Wedge is displayed on the Base Station for a few seconds.
When the Base Station is powered down and powered up again the ID numbers of the Wedges that have tripped will be displayed.( This means that if the Base Station is powered down before the Pest Technician arrives the information is not lost ).
